We all know Brothers Leagues Club is a keen supporter of local sporting organisations and charities. But they are always looking for new ways to add value to the community. Ways that have a positive impact on youth issues and healthy lifestyles.
We couldn’t agree more, so we asked “why not partner with us?”
You see, The MaraWay started to develop the Let’s Get Back to School program in 2017, but we knew we couldn’t do it alone. We needed the financial support of local Cairns businesses to keep the program going over time. We’re operating the program without government support, so we needed local businesses with community spirit to help fund the school bus.
Brothers jumped on board immediately (no pun intended). General Manager, Shane Fitzgerald said “We’re dedicated to benefitting the local community and we view this opportunity with you as an important and required service for families and individuals.”
Since then we’ve been exploring ways to expand our partnership, including ways that our hospitality students might gain valuable experience in the workplace at Brothers.
See, it’s not just financial support we need. There are so many ways for businesses and individuals to help strengthen our local community. They just need to put up their hand and be willing. We’ll work creatively with you to find a way.
We’re a little bit different like that.
