Jill has worked in the early childhood industry since she was 18, and she’s seen it all. She started as an educator assistant and for the next 20-odd years she worked with all ages and roles within childcare centres.
In 2009, Jill decided to up the ante and became a director of childcare centres, specialising in centre start-ups. As a director, Jill realised her passion lay in teaching and guiding trainees and placement students. This led her to complete her TAE40110 Cert IV Training and Assessment (in addition to her Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care).
Jill has been our Early Childhood trainer extraordinaire at The MaraWay since 2014. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to support her students, help them achieve their goals, and ensure they have fun in the process.
In her spare time, Jill is a mother (aka trainer) of two children of her own. A tough gig for her but even tougher for the boys who don’t get away with a thing!
