We need many hands to support The MaraWay. Strong hands. Pioneering and creative hands. Compassionate and committed hands.
That’s where you come in.
Become a Business Partner
Contribute as little as $5 a day to help us continue our vital activities such as running the Let’s Get Back to School bus, keeping our Community Hub open to all in the community, or be a little bit different by helping us trial new services and ideas.
Become a MaraWay Advocate
Let The MaraWay show you how you can grow your business and increase brand loyalty by running cause marketing promotions. You determine what specific program or activity your contribution goes towards that best mirrors your corporate values. We’ll help you design a promotion to increase turnover by promising a donation to The MaraWay for every sale made.
This will give you the opportunity to talk about how you are contributing to making Cairns an even better place to live. Other businesses will admire you for it. And your customers will love you for it!
Contribute Hands-On Support
If you want to get involved but can’t contribute financially, why not volunteer your time for activities, such as assisting with excursions for our Homework Club, or NAIDOC Week activities. We can always use more helping hands.
Contribute Professional Support
Do you have a skill or business qualification we could use? Can you provide legal advice, financial advice, or IT training? We’re always in need of professional services.
Contribute Trades and Materials
Are you able to help with maintenance of our Community Hub? Simple electrical, carpentry and plumbing maintenance tasks, performed regularly, help to keep our doors open and our hub in tip top shape. Get in touch if you can help!
Containers for Change
Give us your recycle stuff and we’ll turn it into cash (to help others in need). Stuff like most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers (between 150ml and 3 litres). These are eligible for us to recycle and can be dropped off at the Hub. It’s a way you can donate to support a good cause. Better still, nominate us by donating to our Scheme Number C10003841 when you visit the recycle drop in centre.
