The MaraWay (ABN 33400628824) is proud to support respected cultural leader Joseph Callope to raise funds for a special Men’s Camp focused on Indigenous men’s mental health, wellbeing and connection to culture. 

The camp will be held from 14–18 September 2026 at Walsh River, Chillagoe and will provide a safe, drug- and alcohol-free environment for men to come together, connect, yarn, heal and strengthen their connection to culture and community. This initiative brings Aboriginal organisations together with a shared understanding that supporting our men requires collaboration.

Many men are experiencing a range of challenges, and this camp aims to create a culturally safe space where they can receive support, strengthen connections and be encouraged to make positive life choices. All money raised will go directly towards delivering the Men’s Camp, such as food, equipment, clothing, materials and swags helping Joe and the organisations involved provide a meaningful experience grounded in culture, connection and brotherhood. 

The MaraWay is supporting Joe in this fundraising effort because we believe that when organisations and community work together, we can create stronger pathways for our men, families and communities.
